As most people will have already heard via e-mail and social media updates a week or so before the Prime Minister placed the country in near lock down to tackle the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we made the tough decision to postpone May's celebration weekend for the exhibition until later in the year.
After discussions with Chas and Gary from Patchings around the social distancing guidelines at the time and limits on sizes of gatherings it was decided it was for the best. Obviously as the situation has worsened and we are certainly in unprecedented times with the UK on almost full lock down the decision would of been made for us a week or so later.
For now we wish all our exhibitors, the community and everyone all the very best for them and their families at this truly challenging time.
But to look forward to better days and maintain a sense of positivity the team at Patchings and us very much wish to keep a place for #Connected2020 later this year when things have found some kind of normality and use the celebration weekend as a symbolic event to celebrate much more than just the creativity of the community.
We will as the situation progresses be in continual dialogue with Patchings and as soon as we are able to we'll pen a new date for #Connected2020 and let everyone know.

We look forward to seeing you all at the re-scheduled event, but for now please do follow advice and STAY HOME & STAY SAFE.
All the very best to everyone and all their families,
Rob & Karen
